July has been a crazy month... although the insanity was largely self-induced by my big dreams for Dexter's 1st year birthday party. That's right, my baby has officially graduated from infanthood to pre-toddlerhood. I wasn't planning on making a big deal out of it because, hey, he's too young to remember anyway. But one night while gazing at a peacefully sleeping Dexter and Chairman Meow on my lap, I was suddenly struck with the thought, "Hey, those are really cute pajamas... I bet that would make a great birthday party theme!" And so, an idea was born...

I've been idly browsing Pinterest for ideas over the past three months, but my eyes were bigger than my hands and there's no way I could have pulled it off without the help of K and my parents. So, huge props to them for making Dexter's party such a success! In the next few posts, I'll show off what we accomplished, in case you ever want to pull off a little monster-themed shindig of your own. :)
