Anyway, my friend Jessi actually followed through with this idea and recently started selling handmade jewelry on Etsy. This girl has a gift from God when it comes to being creative, whether it's jewelry making, painting, sewing, pottery making, or crocheting. I was so impressed with her initial lineup that I just had plug her shop; hope you'll check it out!

Plug for Jessi's Jewelry!
About a year ago, I was super stressed from work because I was volun-told to be the tradeshow captain for our team and I intensely dislike having to staff tradeshow booths, much less plan them. During this time, I dreamed of quitting my job and becoming a freelance crochet designer, free to work from home and sell patterns on Etsy or Ravelry. (Well, at least the work-from-home part came true. ^_~)
