Fwd: Kitteh Hates Nintendo

Chairman Meow was declawed before we adopted her, so she has this nasty habit of biting all the time. Love bites mostly frequently occur whenever:
  • she's on my lap and I need to shift slightly because my legs are falling asleep.
  • I'm petting her and accidentally graze her tummy (or anything that is not her head/neck).
  • K is sitting on the couch, he's not paying attention to her, and his ankles are exposed.
However, at least Chairman Meow has yet to take personal offense at K's gaming habits...

The good news is that you can train cats out of biting by using treats during handling and avoiding rough play or overstimulation. Hope this works because it would unacceptable to have her chomping on our future kids.

  1. Too funny! Ours is a biter too but from the moment we brought our son home he has been scared to death of the baby! :)

  2. Haha, that's awesome. When Sara brought her 8-month-old boy over, our cat fled from him whenever he happily reached out to grab her fur. That's fine with me!

  3. That is too crazy. I'm so glad our cats don't do that when we play games.
